KEY RESPONSABILITIES

As a Tech Lead at Santander, you will play a key role in leading the design and delivery of secure,
scalable, and compliant technology solutions within a highly regulated banking environment. You
will combine deep technical expertise in Java with strong leadership skills to guide engineering

• Define solution architecture aligned with Santander’s enterprise standards.
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and risk frameworks.
• Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Lead design reviews and technical decision-making processes.
• Manage and reduce technical debt in alignment with long-term strategy.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architecture, Risk, and Security teams.
• Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

• 6–10+ years in backend development
• Preferably a university degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
• Java, Spring Boot
• Microservices
• REST APIs
• SQL / NoSQL
• Docker, Kubernetes
