Job Description
[What the role is]
The Manager / Deputy Manager / Senior Executive of the Student Services and Fundraising Department works closely with the ITE Colleges and HQ Divisions to support the overall student services and fundraising of ITE students. He / She reports to an Assistant Director.You are responsible for supporting the effective management, monitoring, reporting, and governance of funds, grants, and financial resources in accordance with financial regulations, policies, and accountability standards.
[What you will be working on]
- The role involves reconciliations and preparing financial reports to support decision-making. He/She works closely with the fundraising team on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring.
- Manage and monitor assigned funds, grants, subsidies, or financial schemes.
- Track fund utilisation to ensure expenditure remains within approved budgets.
- Process fund disbursements, reimbursements, and claims in accordance with financial policies and approval frameworks.
- Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the donor’s financial records.
- Provide detailed reports to the Donors with respect to the utilisation of donations.
- Collaborating with relevant stakeholders (e.g. departments within ITE, government and community agencies) to provide holistic care and support to students.
- Processing and managing student records in ITE’s student administration system.
[What we are looking for]
- Experience in managing accounts, including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Strong attention to details, with high standard of numeracy and budgeting skills.
- Analytical mind capable of investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) are essential.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and relationship-building skills.
- Adaptable and flexible in juggling multiple projects and work under pressure.
