Full-time position
Location: Bay City, Midland, Saginaw
Clean Team is seeking a specialized custodial professional qualified in deep cleaning, restoration, and preservation of various floor surfaces.
Core Responsibilities
- Surface Maintenance: Sweep, mop, dust mop, and vacuum assigned facility areas on a routine basis.
- Floor Restoration: Strip, wax, and buff hard-surface floors (such as VCT, tile, and concrete) to restore shine and prevent wear.
- Carpet Care: Shampoo, extract, and spot-clean carpets and upholstery to remove stains and dirt.
- Equipment Operation: Safely handle industrial floor equipment including floor buffers, burnishers, auto-scrubbers, and carpet extractors.
- Chemical Handling: Dilute and apply chemical solutions safely, strictly adhering to safety guidelines and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
- Safety & Compliance: Install non-slip caution signs, properly ventilate work zones, and follow infection control or hospital hazard standards.
- Site Preparation: Move furniture, equipment, and fixtures to access floor areas and reset them upon project completion.
- Transport Equipment: Operation of company vehicle
Minimum qualifications:
- All applicants must be at least 18 with valid identification
- All applicants must be able to pass a background check for felonies
- All applicants must possess a valid drivers license
- Applicants must pass drug screen
- This position requires open availability
