Job Description
The Warehouse Associate will move materials and/or other items from receiving to production, storage, or other designated areas by hand, forklift, crane, etc.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safe loading, securing and delivery of orders.
- Accountable of picking the correct material and quality according to the order pick ticket.
- Proficient in organization of material and product for storage
- Help with compliance and established internal control procedures to maintain inventory accuracy including cycle counts.
- Unloading incoming shipments of goods and materials.
- Checking for damaged or missing items.
- Prepare shipping by recording weight, size and verifying the accuracy of shipments against purchase orders or shipping manifests.
- Assist in delivery of product to customers
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds if necessary.
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings & weekends.
- Basic computer skills previous experience in the use of scanners and barcode desired
