Job Description
- Deliver a cross-app video calling solution over RCS. Ensure the system is scalable, reliable, and secure, adhering to privacy best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other teams (e.g., touching client, backend, and protocol aspects) to define and deliver the product.
- Utilize existing standards (e.g., WebRTC, MLS and RCS) and define new standards for RCS Video Chat.
- Influence the Android platform, create new standards and solve user gaps (e.g., interoperable, out of the box video solution).
- Solve technical problems related to integrating video calling into Google Messages, utilizing existing standards while building for scale.
