Hiring Range

$50,900.00 - $70,025.00/Annual Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
Overview
Works under the supervision of the Administrator and is part of the RBHC Leadership Team, providing a variety of responsibilities, secretarial and administrative support to the Administrator as well as the Facility Medical Director, General Medical Team and other leaders as necessary. Supervises Administrative Secretaries, Communication Supervisor and Attendants and Unit Clerks. Is responsible for fiscal, administrative management and operational management of the department as well as departmental planning and on call calendars for Admin and Providers. Aids in managing the Hospital Policies, Licenses and Monthly data. Assists with hospital communications, marketing materials, is a leader for care council as well as special hospital activities. Performs other duties as assigned.

What you will do
  • Provides administrative support to the Administrator, the Facility Medical Director and the Directors to include typing and formatting correspondence, compilation of data, and coordination of the contract and policy review processes, and administrative reporting.
  • Co-Chair of the RBHC Care Council reviewing and reporting patient satisfaction results to the leadership team and coordination of National Hospital Week and Customer Service Week activities. Follow the direction of the Riverside Care Difference Team.
  • Supervises the Administrative Secretaries and the Communications Supervisor with oversight of the Communications Department. Ensures equitable distribution of responsibilities, proper scheduling and coverage. Reviews job descriptions, conducts performance evaluations and completes competencies as assigned by the Human Resources Department.
  • Maintains and processes payroll records for assigned areas to include Administration, and provides backup payroll support for the Communications team.
  • Coordinates marketing activities for the hospital and analyzes referral and market share data in order to report marketing updates to the Leadership team and at Town Meetings. Submits a Mid Year and End of Year Marketing Report to the Administrator.
  • Collaborates with Facility Medical Director and the President of the Medical Staff to ensure that the credentialing process and quality review of the general medical staff is in accordance with the General Medical Staff Bylaws.
  • Reviews monthly Management Performance Reports and has oversight of the budgeting process for the following areas
  • Provides support to the Safety and Quality Director assisting with all accreditation processes and follow up for any citations. Assists in the coordination of policy and procedure revisions and the type of and maintenance of accreditation reports and corrective action plans.

Qualifications

Education
  • Associates Degree, With advanced administrative skills in business and computer courses. (Required)

Experience
  • Minimum of three years of related experience. (Preferred)
  • Computer experience (Microsoft Office software), typing 45-55 WPM. (Preferred)
