About this Role:
Consertus is seeking an IT Coordinator / Technology Project Coordinator (TPC) to support the LACCD Technology Project Team for bond-funded technology projects. The TPC serves as a technical project coordination resource for Technology Project Managers and helps ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget through strong documentation control, stakeholder coordination, meeting management, reporting, and issue resolution.
This role will support the delivery of technology project types including:
- Networking and communications infrastructure
- Wireless and cellular deployments
- Physical security systems (IP cameras, access control)
- VoIP and IP-based communications
- Enterprise device deployments
- Server and endpoint infrastructure
- Asset management and technical inventory tracking
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Employment Type: Full-time, W2.
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Compensation Range: $101,920 – $108,160 annually
Key Responsibilities:
Project Documentation & Controls
- Prepare and maintain project initiation forms, schedules, risk logs, and mitigation plans.
- Organize and maintain project folders and documentation; ensure accurate and timely updates.
- Document and report project data accurately in accordance with program requirements.
Meeting & Stakeholder Coordination
- Schedule and coordinate project meetings.
- Create agendas, capture meeting notes, and coordinate with stakeholders to finalize meeting minutes.
- Support consistent communication across project team members, vendors, and client stakeholders.
Project Execution Support
- Support coordination of 5–10 projects simultaneously, varying in value and complexity.
- Provide timely project status updates, reports, presentations, and other deliverables as needed.
- Assist with IT-related contract documents; verify deliverables are accurate and complete.
- Develop detailed technical scopes of work to support IT implementations.
- Coordinate review/approval of IT project submittals.
Budget, Schedule, and Reporting
- Support project budget and schedule tracking in coordination with the PMO.
- Track project status against construction delivery schedules and program milestones.
- Coordinate with Asset Management teams for inventory tracking and asset-related requirements.
Change Management & Risk
- Assist with change order review/evaluation in coordination with Construction Project Managers, Cost Estimators, and other stakeholders.
- Update risk logs and support development of risk mitigation plans.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience coordinating and managing multiple IT projects.
- Experience supporting IT projects within capital improvement programs, including familiarity with relevant codes/standards.
- Experience integrating technology into construction/engineering environments.
- Experience supporting project lifecycle activities including planning, design, and closeout for IT projects.
- Demonstrated experience supporting multiple technologies, such as:
- Network
- Server
- VoIP
- CCTV / Physical Security
- AV
- Storage
- Wireless
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in technology and/or project management (e.g., CompTIA, ITIL, PMP/CAPM, etc.).
- Familiarity with public agency procurement/bidding and contracting processes, especially programs funded by public funds.
- Experience facilitating and coordinating end-user training sessions.
Working Hours & Location: Full-time, exempt role with standard business hours. In addition, this is an onsite position, and Monday – Friday in Los Angeles, CA.
Compensation Range: $101,920 – $108,160 annually; Eligible for Bonus
