Job Description

Looking for a role where governance is more than maintaining documentation? Where clear policies, practical procedures, and the right level of awareness help the business stay aligned and focused on what truly adds value?

At Embla Medical, we improve people’s mobility so they can live their Life Without Limitations. Strong policy governance helps create the structure, consistency, and transparency that support better decisions across our global organization.

We’re looking for a Global Policy Governance Specialist who will coordinate global policy and procedure activities, help share how policies are written, communicated and embedded across the business and support Enterprise Risk Management process.

In this role, you’ll join Agnieszka’s team within the global Internal Control & Risk team (Corporate Governance Office).

What is waiting for you

You’ll coordinate the lifecycle of global policies and procedures, supporting their drafting, review, approval, publication, and ongoing maintenance.

You’ll work with stakeholders across the organization to keep documentation practical, up to date, easy to access, and aligned with governance standards.

You’ll also help shape how policies are communicated and embedded in the organization by contributing to awareness materials, guidance, and training support.

Alongside that, you’ll support selected Enterprise Risk Management topics, including coordination, reporting, and work on tools and processes that strengthen governance across the business.

What you need to succeed in the role

  • A university degree in a relevant field such as Law, Finance, Business, Risk, or a related area,

  • Initial experience in policy governance, compliance, document management, risk management, or another corporate governance-related area, ideally in an international environment,

  • Professional English skills, both written and spoken,

  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook,

  • Interest in governance, policy management, and organizational processes,

  • Experience in project coordination or project management, as well as familiarity with policy management tools or GRC/ERM platforms, will be an asset.

What makes this role stand out is…

… the level of trust, freedom, and ownership it offers.

You’ll have a high level of autonomy, space to shape your way of working, and the opportunity to influence how governance develops over time.

You’ll also join a highly supportive team that consistently scores highly on employee engagement surveys, being recognized for its strong internal collaboration and employee satisfaction.

What we offer

As part of our team, you can expect:

  • An international team culture: collaborate across borders in a diverse and inclusive environment.

  • Private medical care to support your well-being.

  • Sports card support and access to our Social Fund.

  • Career growth opportunities, professional development, and internal mobility across our global organization.

  • A modern workspace in our Scandinavian-style office in the heart of Szczecin.

  • Flexible work model - balance remote work with in-person collaboration to suit your lifestyle and productivity.

This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Due to our hybrid working model, we are looking for candidates based in Szczecin or the surrounding area, with availability to work from the office 2–3 days per week.

Join us in our mission to improve people’s mobility so they can live their Life Without Limitations.
