We’re looking for a Project Engineer to lead capital projects that directly impact how our products are made, scaled, and delivered. This is a hands-on role where you’ll own projects end-to-end—from concept through to commissioning—within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

What skills, responsibilities and experiences this teammate brings -
A degree in Engineering or Applied Science (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or similar)
2–5 years of experience in project engineering, industrial construction, or manufacturing environments
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders at once
Strong communication skills—you can translate technical details into clear, actionable insights
Experience with capital projects (ideally up to ~$2M), including contractor coordination and procurement
A mindset focused on continuous improvement, safety, and quality
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, HACCP, GMP, or ISO standards is an asset
P.Eng (or working toward it) is considered an asset
What this teammate is responsible for
Leading end-to-end delivery of capital projects—from planning and design through to execution and commissioning
Managing project scope, timelines, and budgets while ensuring alignment with operational priorities
Driving process and equipment improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality
Partnering with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure successful execution
Overseeing procurement, contractor performance, and on-site construction activities
Providing technical expertise and troubleshooting to support plant operations
Ensuring all projects meet EH&S, Quality, and Food Safety standards
Reporting on project progress and proactively identifying risks and solutions

Based in Grimsby, ON, with regular travel across the Niagara region (~15%)
Split between office and production environments
15-month contract, with potential for extension based on business needs
