Job Description

JOB TITLE: eCommerce GI Business Director (Direct-to-Customer) DIVISION: General Insurance DEPARTMENT: Products and Propositions LOCATION: GT Tower REPORTING TO (ROLE): Chief Products and Propositions Officer MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: eCommerce GI Business Director will lead the direct-to-consumer (D2C) strategy for General Insurance at AXA Philippines, driving digital marketing, online sales, and campaign execution to achieve Gross Written Premium (GWP) targets

This role is critical in accelerating AXA’s digital growth agenda—leveraging eCommerce and GIO STP platform, expanding embedded insurance partnerships (e.g., fintech, e-commerce, and telco ecosystems), and delivering seamless customer journeys

Key Responsibilities 1

D2C Strategy & Revenue Growth · Define and execute the D2C e-commerce strategy for GI products (motor, travel, personal accident, property, SME) · Own GWP targets across open market digital channels and partner ecosystems · Drive profitable growth through acquisition, conversion, and retention strategies 2

Digital Marketing & Campaign Execution · Lead full-funnel performance marketing across paid media, SEO/SEM, affiliates, CRM, and social · Design and execute integrated campaigns aligned with AXA’s brand and customer value propositions · Optimize marketing ROI, cost per acquisition (CPA), and digital sales conversion 3

E-commerce Platforms & Optimization · Oversee digital sales platforms (eCommerce and GIO, and web journeys) ensuring seamless purchase experiences · Partner with technology teams to enhance digital capabilities, including self-service tools and mobile-first journeys (e.g., Emma app ecosystem) · Implement A/B testing, personalization, and UX/UI improvements to drive conversion 4

Partnerships & Embedded Insurance · Develop and scale strategic partnerships with fintechs, e-commerce platforms, banks, telcos, and aggregators · Expand embedded insurance offerings integrated into partner platforms (e.g., mobile wallets, MSME ecosystems) · Lead commercial negotiations and performance governance of partnerships · AXA Philippines actively collaborates with partners such as GCash, Grab, and digital platforms to expand access and distribution of insurance products. 5

Data, Analytics & Performance Management\ · Define KPIs and dashboards to track GWP, funnel performance, CAC, LTV, and retention · Leverage data and advanced analytics for segmentation, targeting, and campaign optimization · Drive continuous improvement through insights and experimentation 6.Leadership & Stakeholder Management · Build and lead a high-performing e-commerce team · Collaborate cross-functionally with GI pricing and underwriting, product and propositions, compliance, distribution channels KEY STAKEHOLDERS: Internal: GI Technical, Products and Propositions, Brand Marketing and Communications, Technology and Transformation, Data Analytics, Operations, Finance, Legal and Compliance External: Creative, media, and digital agencies, marketing partners, digital marketing and analytics partners/vendors EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field · 10–15+ years of experience in digital commerce, performance marketing, or D2C business leadership · Strong experience in insurance (GI preferred) or financial services · Proven track record of scaling digital sales and delivering revenue (GWP) growth · High-level experience in performance marketing, conversion rate optimization, and digital analytics · Experience managing large marketing budgets and multi-channel acquisition strategies · Strong experience in building partnerships and alternative distribution models · Familiarity with embedded insurance, platform ecosystems, and API-driven distribution · Experience working with fintech, e-commerce, or digital platforms is highly preferred Leadership & Core Competencies · Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline · Data-driven decision-maker with strong analytical capabilities · Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills · Agile, innovative, and customer-centric mindset At AXA, each person matters
