What You Can Expect
Provides full generalist and strategic HR support to the Global Business Services (GBS) organization in Colombia and may support one or more functional units within a matrixed business environment. Serves as an employee advocate and trusted advisor to leaders and employees to assure fair, consistent, and legally compliant administration of employment policies, practices, and programs. Advises management personnel on a broad range of issues including employee relations, talent management, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, performance management, compensation administration, leadership development, and change management.
Identifies HR issues related to short-term and long-term business plans and objectives; develops and implements initiatives to address those issues in alignment with business strategy and enterprise HR priorities. Supports a high-performance, inclusive, and service-oriented culture by strengthening the organization’s ability to attract, retain, develop, and effectively utilize talent. Integrates work with that of other HR functions, Centers of Excellence, HR Operations, Payroll, Legal, Compliance, and business leaders to deliver effective HR solutions within the Colombia GBS environment.
How You'll Create Impact
- Manages core HR processes for the Colombia GBS organization, including workforce planning, staffing support, performance management, compensation administration, employee engagement, career development, leadership development, and succession planning. Serves as subject matter resource on HR processes for assigned client groups.
- Partners with GBS and functional leadership to identify short- and long-term HR priorities related to organizational objectives, business growth, transformation, and operational effectiveness; develops and implements initiatives to address those priorities.
- Provides guidance and support on employee relations matters, performance management issues, workplace concerns, investigations, disciplinary actions, and other sensitive people matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and practices.
- Ensures alignment with applicable Colombian labor and employment requirements, internal policies, and company standards; partners with Legal and Compliance, as appropriate, to mitigate risk and support compliant decision-making.
- Supports organizational design, change management, and communication initiatives associated with GBS growth, process transitions, restructuring, or continuous improvement efforts.
- Be accountable for strategic alignment, management of process results, continuous process improvement, and migration of HR best practices across the company, with emphasis on service delivery excellence in the GBS model.
- Performs surveys, benchmarking studies, and research regarding alternative or advanced employment practices, market trends, and people programs; makes appropriate recommendations for change to improve organizational capability and employee experience.
- Uses HR metrics and analytics, including headcount, attrition, hiring, engagement, and other workforce indicators, to identify trends, support business decisions, and recommend actions to leadership.

- Ability to work effectively across HR Centers of Excellence, HR Operations, Payroll, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and business leadership teams.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, Business Administration, Psychology, Law, or related field plus a minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in a professional human resources management position.
- Experience supporting a shared services, global business services, multinational, or matrixed business environment is strongly preferred. Experience in employee relations, talent management, organizational development, and labor-law-related HR support in Colombia is preferred. Experience supporting service, operational, or corporate functions is advantageous.
- English and Spanish language proficiency preferred, with Spanish fluency generally expected for Colombia-based support roles.
