Manager, Finance - Mergers & Acquisitions

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Support the evaluation and execution of mergers, acquisitions, strategic investments, joint ventures, and other strategic initiatives
• Conduct industry, market, and competitor research to identify potential opportunities and strategic trends
• Assist in financial analysis, valuation, and business case development, including financial modeling and scenario analysis
• Support preparation of investment materials, and internal approval papers for senior management and Board discussions
• Coordinate and support due diligence activities across financial, commercial, legal, tax, operational, and technical workstreams
• Assist in managing external advisors including investment banks, consultants, legal counsel, and accounting firms
• Support transaction execution activities including data room management, tracking of action items, and coordination across internal stakeholders
• Support post-transaction integration and synergy tracking where applicable

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or Engineering
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in M&A, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, transaction services, or corporate strategy preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good financial and commercial acumen
• Familiarity with financial modelling and valuation methodologies
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver under tight timelines
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in energy, infrastructure, offshore/marine, industrials, or related sectors is an advantage

Mon - Thu: 8:00am - 5:15pm
Fri: 8:00am - 4:30pm
