We are searching for the best talent for Director, Strategy and Insights located at Raritan, NJ, Titusville, NJ, New Brunswick, NJ or Horsham, PA.

The Director, Strategy and Insights, will provide strategic, organizational, operational, and decision support to the Innovative Medicine Quality Leadership Team (IMQLT) and the IM Quality (IMQ) organization. In this role, they will drive strategic and operational alignment and effective execution of the Quality strategy across multiple functions and with key business partners. In addition, they will lead IMQ communications, and provide support to key leadership and executive meetings, presentations and engagements. The Director will champion change management and drive stakeholder and employee engagement. In addition, to lead select cross-functional programs and key strategic initiatives.
You will be responsible for:
Collaborate with key stakeholders and business partners, both internally and externally, to understand the organizational needs and the ecosystem in order to inform and shape the Quality strategy and deliver actionable insights.
Monitor the competitive landscape and benchmark externally, provide analysis and insights to the IMQLT and IMQ functions to enable effective prioritization, trade-offs and strategic decisions.
Develop executive level, strategic messaging, and provide support for speaking engagements, key leadership meetings and executive presentations.
Create and maintain a high performing team culture within IMQ, champion change management and drive employee and stakeholder engagement.
Partner with the IMQLT Decision Support Lead to advance leadership ways of working and develop strategic and relevant meeting agendas and content.
Partner closely with Global Communications to develop and execute communications for the Innovative Medicine Quality organization.
Oversee the development of communication messaging and materials for the IMQ organization, using various communication approaches and channels.
Source stories, advance proactive narratives and collaborate across the organization to elevate our IMQ story, position quality as a competitive advantage, effectively convey important information to key internal stakeholders.
Ensure pull through of the IMQ communications strategy and consistency in the communication approach across IMQ.
Foster continuous collaboration with communication colleagues in partner organizations to ensure robust and aligned communications.
Proactively identify and apply key outcome metrics to assess the impact of the IMQ communications strategy on driving awareness of Quality, elevating the quality story, showcasing quality as a competitive advantage and employee and stakeholder engagement.
Oversee the deployment and execution of the Quality strategy, and associated roadmaps; support development of functional strategies and roadmaps.
Drive a deep understanding of the Q&C Vision, Mission and Strategy.
Translate strategy into initiatives and projects; support translation into the functions and development of functional execution plans.
Ensure initiatives address the most challenging and high impact opportunities.
Establish governance, monitor and drive execution through the functions to enable effective delivery of the strategy and key initiatives.
Lead and/or support assigned projects, complex, cross-functional programs and key strategic initiatives, across the IM Q&C organization.
Establish and monitor team performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, conduct annual performance appraisals, and administer salary adjustments.
Promote a culture of inclusion, high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality and the patient.
Mentor and develop team using a supportive and collaborative approach, grounded in Our Credo.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree is required.
Advanced degree and degree concentration in Life Science, Business, Communications or related areas is preferred.
Change Management Certification is required.
Required:
A minimum of 10 years related experience.
Excellent written and verbal communications and strong executive presentation skills
Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape and the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into compelling communications.
Strong project management skills and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a complex, fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering a cooperative work environment and building consensus.
Ambitious, self-motivated, results-oriented and able to independently create and deliver.
Extensive experience planning, executing and developing content for executive level communications, meetings and engagements.
Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills with ability to effectively identify priorities.
Experience supporting strategic development and deployment .
Able to perform well under pressure, adapt to change, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proven record of building consensus and driving outcomes without always having direct reporting authority.
Ability to build and nurture strong, positive relationships with peers, business leaders, stakeholders, and business partners.
Ability to manage complexity with strong analytical and strategic skills.
This position may require up to 20% of domestic and/or international travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$150,000.00 - $258,750.00Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
