Job Description
- Valkyrie Enterprises has need for a C2BMC Principal Acquisition Analyst in Colorado Springs, CO.
- In this role you will become a member of a team with a primary work assignment supporting the Missile Defense Agency’s Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC). This assignment requires a seasoned professional with a detailed understanding of DoD acquisition processes to include cost, schedule, and performance of contracts.
- Use working knowledge of applicable DoD acquisition directives to support the development of Missile Defense System (MDS) acquisition policy, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for MDS development and fielding
- Develop Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approvals, Request for Proposal packages, Statements of Work, and Contract Data Requirement Lists
- Interpret MDA acquisition guidance to support acquisition planning and MDS program integration
- Prepare planning documents to coordinate integrated acquisition strategies within the MDS and OGA partners
- Develop reports, information papers, decision papers, and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholder leadership
- Interact daily with high level DoD Officials (O-6 and above, GS-15/NH-4 equivalent), sitting on-site with the DoD Program Office and ability to deliver products successfully in a fast-paced environment (on demand)
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree and 20+ years of relevant experience or master’s degree and at least 12+ years of relevant experience.
- Must possess knowledge of acquisition processes/activities required to support the evaluation of contract performance against the program baselines.
- Must have experience translating technical requirements into contract requirements.
- Must be capable of working independently or leading cross-functional teams to research, track, and complete ad hoc tasks associated with the PWS.
- Must have experience in cost, schedule and performance management for a space-based program and/or a DoD.
- Must have expertise in strategic planning, acquisition strategy development, and development of key acquisition documentation to support acquisition strategy approval and execution.
- Prior MDA experience, preferred.
- Must have an Active Secret security clearance, which requires US Citizenship
- Travel required; 10% or less

Pay Range: $165,000 - $180,000 per year
