We are seeking a talented individual to join our Digital & MarTech team at Mercer Super. This role will be based in Melbourne or Sydney. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
MarTech Solutions Manager
The MarTech Solutions Manager is responsible for the strategic management, optimisation, and evolution of the organisation’s marketing technology ecosystem. Reporting to the MarTech Leader, this role ensures the technology, data, platform, and channel capabilities required to deliver personalised, scalable, and compliant customer engagement are available and continuously improved.
Working alongside the Customer Orchestration Manager, Customer Channel Performance Manager, and other members of the MarTech team, the MarTech Solutions Manager acts as the bridge between business needs and technical delivery. The role partners closely with Digital, Technology, Data, and Vendor teams to design and deliver solutions that enable customer journey orchestration, automation, personalisation, and measurement across the customer lifecycle.
12-month contract initially.
We will count on you to:
- Develop and maintain the MarTech capability roadmap aligned to customer, digital, and business strategies.
- Identify opportunities to enhance customer engagement through new technologies, automation, and platform capabilities.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend investments that improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Establish a forward-looking MarTech vision that supports organisational growth and evolving customer expectations.
- Own the day-to-day management and strategic evolution of marketing technology platforms.
- Drive continuous optimisation of platform capabilities, processes, and utilization.
- Own the technology capability and operational readiness of customer engagement channels, including email, SMS, push notifications, in-app messaging, web personalisation, and emerging channels.
- Ensure engagement channels are effectively integrated into the MarTech ecosystem and support consistent, seamless customer experiences
- Lead the design and implementation of MarTech enhancements, integrations, and new capabilities.
- Oversee the integration of customer, marketing, and digital platforms to support seamless data flow and activation.
- Partner with the Customer Orchestration Manager to enable journey orchestration, decisioning, and automation capabilities.
- Manage relationships with MarTech vendors, implementation partners, and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, privacy, security, and data management requirements.
What you need to have:
- 10+ years’ experience in consumer marketing, marketing technology with knowledge of multiple marketing disciplines.
- Experience with Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud is essential
- Proven track record in developing and executing marketing operations processes to improve productivity and efficiency
- Ability to think laterally and creatively, and superior communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence outcomes at all levels of the organization
- Client and customer focus, delivers results, builds relationships, exercises sound judgment
- Well-developed interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to judge competing priorities
- Ability to adapt communication style and influence strategy to meet different audience needs or to appeal to others whose support is important
