The Senior Sourcing Specialist position is located at our World-Class Manufacturing Campus in Querétaro, Mexico. You will work in one of our five state-of-the-art buildings, all of which offer on-site medical services, a cafeteria, transportation, and ergonomic workstations.
About the Role
As a Senior Sourcing Specialist, you will have the opportunity to take on the challenge of supporting the creation of high-quality products that serve leading companies across a wide range of industries, including semiconductor manufacturing, sustainable energy production, medical equipment, and food safety.

Key Responsibilities
Develop sourcing strategies for indirect categories (IT, EHS, Engineering, HR, Logistics) and category plans to support the business, including supply market and industry analysis, category and supplier segmentation, sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and implementation.
Develop and maintain project savings tracking systems to enable efficient status reporting.
Identify and develop alternative solutions for sourcing needs based on supplier cost structures and competitive analysis.
Build relationships and ensure effective communication, prioritization, and alignment with key stakeholders.
Continuously integrate suppliers and manage relationships with key suppliers within assigned category areas.
Lead category and supplier segmentation strategies, supplier transition and qualification activities, and ongoing supplier base design management, with a focus on supplier consolidation and adoption of best-in-class standards and processes.
Support ongoing risk management and mitigation planning, problem-solving, process improvement recommendations, and compliance with policies, procedures, and systems.
Categories include. Employee transportation, cafeteria services, Capex, logistics, medical services, recruiting, events, agencies, MRO, leasing, etc.
Scope: United States and Mexico
Requirements
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in procurement/purchasing
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Advanced English proficiency
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to multitask effectively
Experience in project management
