About the Role and Site
Join a state-of-the-art vaccines facility in Dundalk at a pivotal stage of growth—from start-up through to commercial manufacturing. This is a senior-level opportunity to take full ownership of the DeltaV control system, shaping how automation is implemented, governed, and scaled across the site.
Operating within a highly digital and automated environment, you will work at the centre of key programmes including technology transfer and site readiness, while building capability across a growing operations team. This is a unique opportunity to define the DeltaV landscape in a new manufacturing site and have a lasting impact on how systems are designed, supported, and optimised.
Bring energy, knowledge, and innovation to:
Act as DeltaV System Owner, driving end-to-end oversight, governance, and performance
Lead code review, system optimisation, and continuous improvement across control systems
Support key site programmes, including technology transfer and manufacturing readiness
Oversee migration from legacy systems to a modern DeltaV platform
Provide technical leadership across automation systems (DeltaV and broader control systems)
Lead and resolve complex investigations, deviations, and automation challenges
Act as a technical lead in cross-functional and tiered meetings, influencing site operations
Build and develop site capability, upskilling teams with limited DeltaV experience
Collaborate across operations, engineering, quality, and external partners to deliver projects
Ensure systems are compliant, reliable, and inspection-ready
What skills you will need:
Significant hands-on DeltaV experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
Strong background in automation system ownership, governance, and code review
Experience supporting technology transfer and start-up or transformation environments
Proven ability to lead complex technical investigations and problem-solving activities
Strong understanding of control systems and batch automation (S88/S95)
Ability to influence stakeholders and operate at senior level across matrix teams
Experience working across multiple automation platforms (e.g. PLC systems) desirable
Strong communication, collaboration, and organisational skills
