SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Based in Shanghai, the Administrator, International Accounting will be part of a QDLP support team that is responsible for facilitating the communications and BAUs between our counterparts in China and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating with fund custodians and internal OCM teams to complete necessary onshore custodian bank account opening and authorized signatory list;

  • Supporting fund administrator set up including uploading necessary documents to online portals and completing product set up forms;

  • Coordinating with fund administrator and fund custodian regarding timing for cash movements, completing set up of New Investor and Subscriptions;

  • Providing Capital Arrival Certification to compliance for the AMAC application;

  • Liaison with LA team to prepare, review and approve wire/ FX instructions and initiate wire transfers after the FX trade;

  • Initiate orders and redemption placement orders related to Lux funds;

  • Support translating financial information/ returns;

  • to/ from Chinese for example quarter end NAV packs;

  • Preparation of dividend notices in Chinese/ redemption application tables;

  • Coordination and distribution of Dividend Distribution Notices in Chinese;

  • Coordination of AMAC filings and provision of ancillary support;

  • Acting as the primary operational contact between auditors and LA FA teams, facilitating audit confirmation requests and other audit support, reviewing AFS in Chinese and providing communication support between LA FA and auditors as needed;

  • Coordination and completion of annual AMR filing and Shanghai SAFE inquiries;

  • Submission of quarterly cross-boarder transaction reporting to Beijing financial bureau and Beijing SAFE

  • Other ad-hoc client and internal requests; and

  • Supporting additional projects or initiatives as necessary.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Knowledge in general ledger accounting and Chinese regulatory environment;

  • Knowledge of private equity investment funds, investment company, transaction support, accounting and partnership accounting;
