
Inventory Control Specialist
Job Description
Aerometals is looking to add the following position:
Inventory Control Specialist
Pay range: $25- $28 hourly
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm & Friday 7:00am - 12:00pm
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to:
- Evaluate inventory data and transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, identify trends, and determine root causes for any variances.
- Conduct routine inventory audits.
- Assist with job boxes and material counts.
- Utilize Material Master Creation as required.
- Relocate all non-inventoried items from bond into inventory.
- Maintain and organize productive stores and inventory areas.
- Perform inventory adjustments when necessary and determine why.
- Ensure inventory is adequately protected against damage and deterioration.
- Assist with tooling jobs and incoming requests for parts from bond for review and evaluation.
- Coordinate with Project Engineers, Planners, Sales, Quality as required.
- Assist with any other projects in the Material Management department as needed.
Qualification Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of material management within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to use a computer and perform data entry functions.
- Well organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Experience: 2 years in warehouse inventory
Training: On the job training.
