Job Description
You will work with Quality and Engineering organizations to reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and achieve acceptable first pass yield collaborate with Engineering to resolve tooling related quality issues You will support the creation of documentation necessary for new applications, including job instructions, job routers, job safety analyses, standard operating procedures, etc You will analyze the reasons for equipment failure and leads Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) efforts participate in reliability related incident investigations, prioritizing action items, and follow-up on their implementation You will support Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) efforts to increase machine utilization, as defined by facility targets analyze process data and lead improvement projects Further, you will work as an integral team member on productivity projects utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma practices support the design and modify tooling / fixturing for new product introduction and improvement of existing processes Also, you will support the completion of First Article Inspection (FAI) and SPS data for new product introduction and improvement of existing processes support design reviews with safety and ergonomics focus on plant systems and production equipment changes
