Air Logistics Consolidation Specialist is responsible for managing air export consolidation, cargo planning, booking coordination, shipment monitoring, and documentation accuracy. This role supports smooth airfreight movement by coordinating with carriers and operations teams, improving space utilization, and supporting cost-efficient shipment execution through effective consolidation planning.
How you create impact
1. Export Consolidation Operations
- Manage daily air export consolidation activities, including build-up, break-down, booking, shipment handover, and cargo movement coordination
- Ensure cargo is planned and moved efficiently from readiness stage through to airline uplift
- Monitor shipment status, flight schedules, and operational progress to ensure timely execution
2. MAWB / HAWB & Documentation Accuracy
- Plan and monitor MAWB and HAWB consolidation accurately
- Maintain proper Master Air Waybill details and shipment information in the relevant systems
- Ensure export documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with shipment requirements
3. Carrier & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with airlines, carriers, warehouse, gateway, customs-related parties, and internal operations teams
- Follow up on flight confirmation, departure, arrival, shipment status, and cargo delays
- Resolve operational issues related to booking changes, uplift issues, shipment irregularities, and urgent escalations
4. Cargo Planning & Cost Optimization
- Support cargo space planning, load planning, and consolidation optimization
- Monitor weight break, cargo routing, and consolidation opportunities to improve shipment efficiency
- Identify ways to improve load factor, reduce cost, and support operational profitability
5. Process Improvement & Service Performance
- Support continuous improvement in consolidation planning, shipment monitoring, and operational workflow
- Help reduce operational errors related to booking, documentation, and weight break calculation
- Maintain service quality through accurate updates, timely coordination, and proactive issue management
What we would like you to bring
Education & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in airfreight, air export operations, consolidation, gateway operations, or freight forwarding operations
- Strong hands-on experience in airfreight consolidation is preferred
- Experience coordinating with airlines, carriers, warehouse, gateway, or internal operations teams
Technical Skills
- Good understanding of air export operations, cargo handling, airline booking, and shipment uplift process
- Strong knowledge of MAWB and HAWB consolidation planning
- Good understanding of cargo space planning, weight break, routing, load factor, and shipment monitoring
- Familiarity with freight forwarding systems and airline systems will be an advantage
- Able to identify operational risks and follow up with the right stakeholders
Professional Skills
- Good English communication skills are required
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Detail-oriented with good documentation accuracy
- Able to work under operational pressure and manage shipment urgency
- Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced airfreight environment
- Strong problem-solving ability and service-oriented mindset
