Job Description
Job Purpose:
To wait on tables promptly, courteously and to serve the guests and members delivering extraordinary customer service, in accordance with Omni standards.
Essential Job Functions:
Greet all guests promptly in a friendly manner.
Take food and beverage orders.
Delivery of food and beverages to guests.
Monitor guests' drinks, anticipate needs.
Clean and Service bar area.
Departing guests, ensuring proper payment.
To properly set upside station.
To have a complete understanding of service standards.
To have a complete understanding of the menu.
To have a complete understanding of wine service.
To have a complete understanding of beverage offerings.
To have a complete understanding of the POS system.
To collect and close all bar tabs before guests' departure from the bar.
To comply with food handling and sanitation standards.
To comply with local liquor laws.
Shift accounting, printing of reports at the end of the shift and banking out.
Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in an upscale restaurant, lounge or wine bar and be able to cater to cliental at the upscale level.
Requires good communications skills including proficiency in verbal English language and demonstrated professionalism.
Must have an open/flexible schedule.
RBS certified and California Food Handler Certification prefer.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift.
Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects of moderate weight without assistance.
Working Environment:
Interior of hotel, dining room and restaurant kitchen
Exposure to various hazardous chemicals.
Exposure to food items and beverages.
Tools & Equipment:
MICROS computer and card, telephone, wine key
Pay rate: $15.42 - $20.57
