Position Summary
This position is responsible for the development and support of SAP FI/CO applications that enable the business to operate efficiently and within established service level agreements. The role partners with business stakeholders to translate existing processes into SAP FI and CO solutions, supporting system configuration, testing, and user acceptance activities tied to a major system build and go-live, while also providing ongoing production support and issue resolution. The ideal candidate brings a strong accounting or finance background, SAP user and/or testing experience, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in the collection, understanding, documentation, and analysis of SAP FI/CO processes that impact the delivery of finance-related IT services
Support the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP FI/CO solutions aligned to business requirements
Coordinate and execute system testing activities, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, to ensure readiness for deployment
Provide production support by troubleshooting issues, resolving defects, and partnering with business users to maintain system performance
Identify gaps or opportunities for improvement within existing SAP FI/CO solutions and recommend enhancements
Support project execution by managing assigned tasks and deliverables to meet key milestones and go-live objectives
Participate in end-user training and support adoption of new processes and system functionality

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Computer Science or related field required; master’s preferred
2-5 years’ relevant experience supporting finance/accounting processes and/or SAP FI/CO environments
Experience as an SAP end user within a finance or accounting function, with exposure to testing or system-related activities preferred
Experience supporting system implementations, testing cycles, or go-live activities preferred
Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements and translate them into system-related solutions
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to partner across business and technical teams
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Physical Requirements and Working Environment
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer
