This role is responsible for ensuring that all systems and equipment are operating efficiently and safely.What you'll get to do* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment and systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC* Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems* Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained* Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a prompt and professional manner* Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs, including work orders and inventory of parts and suppliesSkills and Experience* High school diploma or equivalent required, with a degree in engineering or a related field preferred* Previous experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting* Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills* Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies* Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures, including OSHA regulations
