Job Description
Essential Functions:
¨ Maintains a constant awareness of guests’ needs and fulfills those needs to the best of his/her ability.
¨ Observes proper dress standards as set by the Omni New Haven Hotel and always maintains the highest standards of personal hygiene.
¨ Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 10 dinner plates.
¨ Maintain a safe and clean work area at all times.
¨ Report any need for housekeeping and/or repairs of banquet equipment to your supervisor.
¨ Must be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws.
¨ Must attend all designated pre-meal meetings and monthly O.S.T. meetings.
¨ At all times, maintains highest standards of professionalism, towards all guests, fellow associates and managers at the Omni New Haven Hotel
¨ Must check in and out with captain/manager for all scheduled functions.
¨ Performs other duties as required by supervisor.
Tools and Equipment:
¨ Coffee maker/urn, toaster, bus trays, dishware, silverware, glassware, queen-mary cart, telephone, pen/pencil, wine opener , tray stand and linen
Working Environment:
¨ Interior of hotel, in the restaurant, lounge and kitchen areas, with exposure to extreme temperatures.
¨ Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemical
