Occupational Therapist
Part Time, First Shift
The Occupational Therapist shall evaluate and treat patients; develop a treatment plan; and set goals for patients. Patient and family education is included in the treatment plan and goals.
Job Duties:
- Completes appropriate functional evaluation including assessment of pain for various musculoskeletal/neurological conditions.
- Provides services to improve functional independence and/or reduce pain such as: Therapeutic procedures/exercises or activities to promote ROM, strength, coordination, balance, functional mobility (bed mobility and transfers), ADL training (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, etc.), visual perceptual training, cognitive training, or splinting.
- Provides ongoing assessment and advances/modifies treatment plan according to patient’s response.
- Completes evaluation form, treatment notes, progress reports and D/C summaries in a timely manner and appropriately submits to referring provider.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Eligible for a temporary license or Licensed as an Occupational Therapist by the Kentucky Board of Occupational Therapy
