Job Description

Pay: $90,000 – $100,000 annually (based on experience) Location: Remote   Build Pipeline. Create Opportunity. Win Business. At Lakeside Book Company, our PAKSMart! division delivers complex, high-impact supply chain solutions—from design to delivery. We’re looking for someone who doesn’t wait for leads… they go out and create them. If you’re competitive, proactive, and motivated by turning cold outreach into real revenue—this is your lane.   What You’ll Do Proactively generate and qualify new business through outbound prospecting (calls, email, networking) Build and maintain a strong, active pipeline—this role is measured on activity and results Own early-stage conversations and uncover customer needs to create opportunities Support quotes, proposals, and RFP responses to move deals forward Keep CRM clean, accurate, and reflective of real pipeline health Partner cross-functionally (operations, finance, production) to bring opportunities to life Identify process improvements and help strengthen how we sell   What You Bring 2–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or high-activity customer-facing roles Proven ability (or strong drive) to prospect, cold reach, and open doors Competitive mindset—you like targets, metrics, and winning Strong communication skills with confidence on the phone and in writing Highly organized and able to manage multiple opportunities at once Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment Experience with CRM tools and Microsoft Excel; B2B experience is a plus Why This Role This is not a passive sales support role. This is for someone who wants to break into—or level up in—true business development, build a pipeline from scratch, and directly impact revenue in a growing part of the business.
