About the role
You will join the Marketing Operations team as part of the Global Marketing organization. The Global Operations team delivers solutions, services, and guidelines to support the delivery of our Marketing objectives and achieve our company purpose: deliver better everyday health with humanity.
As we grow our marketing capabilities and global digital portfolio (over 2300 online channels), we see exponential growth in our number of marketing processes, systems, and suppliers. Incurring additional complexity and increasing the likelihood of compliance risks.
To enable Marketing effectiveness and trust via compliant solutions, we aim to deploy a Global Digital Governance strategy relying on clear standards (processes to follow), policies (compliance guidelines) and controls (monitoring and reporting). This framework is a foundational element helping further develop our digital portfolio, and meet our global marketing performance goals.
Your mission will include assisting with the delivery of our global governance and compliance strategy, with a specific focus on measurement and controls: process adherence, compliance and legal requirements, risk exposure, etc.
With a clear governance and compliance framework supported by senior leadership, and followed by the organization, we look forward to having a more productive work environment and a higher-quality, more effective digital marketing presence.
Key responsibilities
Your main responsibility will be to develop, deploy and maintain the Marketing Governance Framework. Based on our digital risk plan, you will identify new or evolving risks, define relevant metrics to measure our exposure, and implement solutions to improve monitoring and enable pro-active remediation. In that part, you will be given an opportunity to partner with specialized services such as Privacy, Safety, Legal, etc. and accountable Marketing Managers (digital, media, web, social media, etc.). A key aspect will be data management and establishment of a data-driven strategy, to generate relevant and meaningful information to the Marketing organization.
You will be the Product Owner of Global Marketing Governance dedicated solutions. As a Product Owner, you will identify new opportunities to improve our systems and address evolving business requirements. You will manage the backlog and prioritize work for our tech agency partners. You will also be the ambassador of your products and run on-going communications to support adoption across our Business Units.
Finally, you will be coordinating with teams relevant to our business and function (i.e. Privacy, Consumer Safety) and will become a champion, helping the organization with the definition of balanced and proportionate guidelines. As part of the team, you will support our Marketing Governance and Compliance journey, expansion across new areas such as D-commerce, and help drive our Haleon Marketing effectiveness and compliance ambitions.
Qualifications and skills
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- 2-4 years’ experience in Digital Marketing
- Data Minded, Analytics project experienced
- Rigorous, structured, and organized
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Experience working with large FMCGs organization
- Experience in Digital Compliance (e.g. privacy)
- Experience in Pharma or Consumer Healthcare industry
- Experience in Agile product management
- Development and technical background (e.g. MySQL)
