The Role and Impact
The Chief Accounting Office (CAO) manages Intel's global accounting, compliance, and reporting.
We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping our organization's financial strategy by creating and analyzing financial information, developing comprehensive reports, and providing actionable insights to influence decision-making at various business levels. Your contributions will directly impact the integrity of our financial reporting, the efficiency of our operational processes, and the realization of key business goals. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business trends and financial data to develop reconciliations, financial reports, variance explanations, risk assessments, and solutions.
- Evaluate accounting and reporting frameworks, recommending improvements to ensure the accuracy of both external and internal reporting.
- Identify and execute process improvement opportunities for quarter-end close activities and management reporting, ensuring operational efficiency.
- Recommend financial process improvements utilizing automation tools and efficient delivery methods to enhance productivity.
- Create periodic management reports to measure and evaluate the performance of business units and the organization as a whole.
- Provide decision support to leadership by monitoring revenues and rebates, explaining variances, and conducting root cause and business analyses.
- Offer ad hoc financial and key performance indicator analyses to influence and support strategic leadership decisions.
- Scope will expand alongside the development of on-site capabilities and skillsets through continued transformation efforts
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with at least 6+ years of relevant practical experience - Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MIA, or CIA) are an added advantage - Proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and reporting. - Expertise in data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI. - Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, or similar) will be an advantage. - Advanced understanding of statistics, data analytics, and macro-based or KNIME based automation or similar toolsets. Preferred Qualifications - Demonstrated ability to perform in a dynamic and evolving business environment. - Strong business acumen and understanding of financial processes and their interdependencies. - Experience with risk management and controls, such as SOX, with the ability to execute plans and defend assessments based on an understanding of underlying risks. - Proven track record in influencing stakeholders and managing cross-functional collaborations across different teams and locations. - Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for leadership.
