About the Role
Are you passionate about cloud infrastructure, automation, and tackling complex operational challenges? Join our team as a hands-on Cloud Engineer in India. You will be a crucial part of the CISO-led organization, collaborating closely with leaders and partners across Cybersecurity, IT, and Infrastructure.
This role is for an engineer who thrives on building scalable environments, enhancing reliability and security, and automating manual processes. You will be instrumental in ensuring our cloud environments remain efficient, resilient, and fully prepared to support the company's growth.
If you have expertise with Terraform, AWS, and automation, and enjoy working across a range of domains, from IAM and networking to performance and cost optimization, this position is an excellent match.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and improve cloud infrastructure, primarily in AWS, with Azure experience as a plus
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Create and maintain Terraform modules for common infrastructure resources
- Help manage Terraform repositories, including updates to security groups
- Respond to alerts, incidents, and service disruptions
- Perform routine operational tasks, including instance resizing, service restarts, configuration updates, and volume expansions
- Assist with onboarding and expansion of customer Splunk environments
- Investigate and resolve issues across networking, IAM, compute, storage, and cloud cost
- Handle IAM access requests, including provisioning, modifying, and deprovisioning AWS access, along with Okta group mapping
- Build automation scripts and tooling, preferably in Python
- Help standardize infrastructure patterns across environments
- Monitor cloud spend, right-size resources, and clean up unused or orphaned assets
Qualifications
- 2-5+ years of experience in IT.
- Experience supporting production cloud environments in AWS
- Working knowledge of Azure is a plus
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Experience with cloud operations, incident response, and infrastructure troubleshooting
- Familiarity with AWS IAM and identity management workflows
- Experience with Okta administration or group-based access mapping
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively with a hybrid team
- Preferred Skills
- Basic understanding of security concepts (SOC, SIEM, EDR)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Knowledge of Linux, networking, and modern web/mobile frameworks
Preferred Certifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate
- AWS Certified Security – Specialty
- HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Fundamentals
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting Splunk environments
- Exposure to security-focused cloud operations
- Experience with cost optimization and cloud governance
- Background in SaaS, managed services, or security operations environments
