About the Role The Senior Client Executive is responsible for managing key client relationships within the power and energy sector, ensuring delivery of high-quality insurance broking and risk advisory services
This role requires deep technical knowledge of energy risks, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to lead complex placements and renewals for large-scale infrastructure and energy accounts
Key responsibilities Serve as the primary relationship manager for major power and energy accounts (generation, transmission, distribution, renewables, EPC contractors)
Maintain strong client engagement to understand evolving risk exposures and business needs
Ensure high client retention through proactive service delivery and strategic advisory
Lead the end-to-end placement of insurance programs, including Property Damage, Business Interruption, Construction All Risks (CAR), Erection All Risks (EAR), Liability, and Specialty Energy lines
Structure complex insurance solutions tailored to energy sector exposures
Coordinate with reinsurers, local insurers, and global markets (e.g., Singapore, London) for optimal coverage terms
Oversee renewal strategy, ensuring competitive pricing and comprehensive coverage
Review policy wordings, endorsements, and contract certainty requirements
Ensure compliance with Philippine Insurance Commission (IC) regulations
Provide technical advice on risk exposures, including operational, construction, and environmental risks
Assist clients in risk improvement initiatives and loss prevention strategies
Analyze claims trends and recommend risk mitigation measures
Support clients in managing complex claims, including large property or project losses
Liaise with insurers, adjusters, and technical experts to ensure prompt and fair settlement
Provide guidance on claims documentation and recovery strategies
Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling within existing accounts
Support strategic acquisition of new power and energy clients
Participate in client pitches and proposal development
Mentor junior client executives and associates
Ensure adherence to internal service standards and processes
Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the brokerage
What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related discipline Preferably licensed Insurance Agent/Broker (Philippine Insurance Commission) Minimum 6–10 years of experience in insurance broking or underwriting, with strong exposure to power & energy accounts Strong knowledge of energy insurance products (CAR, EAR, operational risks, liability, etc.) Experience dealing with international insurance markets is an advantage Strong client relationship management Advanced negotiation and placement skills Analytical and risk assessment capability Excellent communication and presentation Leadership and mentoring ability High level of professionalism and accountability What’s on offer At Gallagher, we believe in empowering our people to thrive both professionally and personally
