Corpay is currently looking to hire a Private Market Onboarding Analyst within our Legal and Compliance division. This position falls under our Corpay Cross Boder line of business and is located in Toronto, Ontario. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting end-to-end client onboarding for private market clients (e.g., funds, investment managers, SPVs, trusts), ensuring compliance with applicable AML/CTF regulations and internal risk frameworks. The role focuses on delivering a risk-based, efficient onboarding experience while maintaining high standards of regulatory compliance and client due diligence. You will report directly to North American Compliance Director and regularly collaborate with team members and other departments.

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
Client Onboarding & Due Diligence
Performing KYC/CDD/EDD for private market clients, including:
Private equity funds, venture capital firms, hedge funds
Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), trusts, and complex ownership structures
Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for high-risk clients, including:
Complex ownership layers
High-risk jurisdictions
Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs)
Identifying and documenting red flags, including financial crime risks (ML/TF, sanctions exposure)
Identifying and verifying Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) and control structures
Assessing source of wealth (SoW) and source of funds (SoF)
Compliance & Regulatory Adherence
·Ensure onboarding aligns with:
FINTRAC requirements (for Canada)
Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) obligations (for U.S. exposure)
Internal AML/CTF policies and global compliance standards
Perform sanctions and adverse media screening using approved tools
Escalating high-risk cases and support decision-making with Compliance/Advisory teams
Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with:
Sales and Relationship Management teams to facilitate onboarding
Legal and Compliance teams for complex structures and risk decisions
Provide clear guidance to business stakeholders on documentation and compliance expectations
Qualifications & Skills
AMS certification
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business, or related field
5+ years of experience in AML/KYC, preferably with exposure to private markets or fund structures
Strong understanding of AML/CTF regulations and Complex corporate structures (funds, trusts, SPVs)
Experience with screening tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Bridger)
Familiarity with cross-border regulatory frameworks
Key Skills

The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic markets. At Corpay it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. The estimate of the minimum and maximum salary range is CAD $65,000-$85,000.
