About the Role: This is an entry level position in the Printing Press Department. Anyone with a great attitude who wants to grow their job into a career is encouraged to apply.  We are currently looking for individuals to work our continental shift (6:00 am/pm to 6:00 am/pm).  Days of work will be Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday in a 2-week period.   Then the following Monday you do the same days but opposite shift.  These are all entry level roles with opportunity for growth Starting pay rate is $18.00 per hour+$1.50 for midnight shift   Responsibilities: Safety is priority #1 at MCC Label  Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines. Reports all safety concerns or issues to immediate supervisor. Maintains a clean and safe work environment. Maintain a good attitude and be willing to learn. MCC Label has been around for almost 100 years, and we pride ourselves on our high level of excellence. Every team member of MCC Label is expected to treat all associates respectfully and professionally.  Reviews Production schedule for the next job to be printed. Completes the ink sheet based on information from the docket. Locates the required inks. Puts the proper ink in fountains of each unit needed for job. Assists the pressmen in removal and changing of plates and blankets. Maintains ink fountains during production run. Helps remove the printed skid from the press delivery and transfers to staging area. Replenishes and has available all press supplies such as rags and blanket wash. Completes the Ink Usage sheet accurately and neatly. Must have a working knowledge of the feeder operation. Understands the use and danger of all wash up chemicals. Fully competent and proficient on all presses in the facility. Completes press maintenance procedures under direction of pressman. Responsible for cleaning and trash management in the press area. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Any experience in printing or manufacturing is a plus but not required. The physical demands require standing, using hands to finger, reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. This position requires standing for long periods of time.  Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.  Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 70 pounds.
