About the team you are joining IATA is the trade association for the world’s airlines, representing over 320 airlines across 120 countries. Our members comprise 83% of total air traffic. IATA’s mission is to represent, lead, and serve the airline industry. IATA operates over 50 offices and 7 regional offices across the world. We are embarking on a continuous improvement and digital transformation journey. The BORA (meaning “better” in Swahili) program aims at delivering a new ERP solution for IATA that will enable Corporate Services to deliver on their fiduciary responsibilities as well as deliver more value to the business. The Senior Manager, Business Standards, supports defined ERP workstreams within Corporate Services by coordinating business requirements, process documentation, and implementation activities to ensure alignment with agreed standards and delivery milestones. The role reports to the CS Transformation Lead. What your day would be like Act as a coordination point between business stakeholders and I D, ensuring requirements and process inputs are clearly documented and communicated. Contribute to the definition and refinement of business rules and standards, supporting senior stakeholders in their validation and approval. Work closely with Directors and GPOs to translate future‑state processes into clear, actionable requirements, ensuring master data supports critical workflows and end‑to‑end integration. Document the standards framework that will anchor the ERP and SI RFP, enable business readiness and ensure a consistent foundation for design. Support stakeholder alignment efforts by preparing materials, facilitating workshops, and tracking adherence to agreed principles under guidance of senior stakeholders. Coordinate assigned activities related to data cleansing, documentation, and migration readiness within defined scope and timelines. Ensure process alignment between the ERP and other IATA business systems, collaborating with I D while protecting business ownership of standards. Support governance processes by preparing inputs, tracking risks/issues, and escalating deviations through appropriate channels.
