The Role
The Account Manager, Partnerships plays a pivotal role within 160/90, sitting within the Client Services team in Singapore. This role is responsible for leading day-to-day client management, driving account growth, and ensuring the seamless delivery of best-in-class sports and entertainment partnership campaigns across Asia-Pacific.
You will act as a trusted partner to clients, translating briefs into effective campaigns. You will drive the planning and delivery of campaigns from concept through to execution, managing internal teams and external partners to deliver impactful work with measurable results.
You will also play a key role in shaping account direction, identifying opportunities for growth, while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence. You will work closely with teammates across markets, regions, and functions to deliver integrated activations that meet and exceed client objectives.
This role will report to the Account Director based in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
Manage key client relationships, acting as the primary day-to-day contact. Build trust through proactive communication, strategic counsel, and consistent delivery of high-quality work
Identify the right initiatives, resources, and partners required to deliver against client briefs and campaign objectives
Drive the end-to-end campaign delivery, as a partner to the Account Director and the first-line manager and guide for the executives
Drive the development and execution of partnership campaigns across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment from planning through to on-site delivery
Maintain oversight of timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure seamless execution
Support the Account Director with internal processes including project management, procurement, legal, and finance
Coordinate effectively across internal teams and regional stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
Contribute to new business and organic growth
Build a strong understanding of client brands, industries, and audiences to advise on what will and won’t work, with counsel grounded in insight and understanding
Build and maintain effective working relationships across teams, markets, and functions to ensure a connected and collaborative approach to delivery
Maintain a strong understanding of social, digital, and cultural trends, as well as the evolving sports and sponsorship landscape across APAC, applying this knowledge to client work
Monitor client feedback and proactively identify ways to enhance service delivery, strengthen relationships, and improve overall account performance.
You Have These:
Minimum of 5 years relevant agency, client-based experience across Partnerships (experience in events delivery is favourable)
Knowledge and expertise across a variety of sports
Understanding of how to build a client relationship and understand their business needs
Proven ability to manage a high volume of client-service deliverables through critical path planning and time/resource management to maintain high quality output
Strong understanding of regional cultural landscape
Organised and detail oriented in a fast-paced, client service environment
Excellent time management, written and oral communication skills
