About the role
In this role, you will provide administrative support to the underwriters by managing data, documentation, and renewal preparation across assigned client relationships. You will work closely with Underwriting, Technical Accounting, and Claims to ensure accurate processing, strong data quality, and timely service to clients and brokers, while also contributing to internal projects and day‑to‑day back‑office activities.
Your Role
Register all relevant data from Underwriting submissions, acceptances and rejections in our IT systems
Prepare in the relevant systems renewal information in a way that the Underwriter can start its risk assessment work
Read and evaluate contractual wordings with regards to changes from prior years
Work together with Technical Accounting and Claims Management to ensure that we provide a proper and timely service to our clients and brokers
Maintain full overview of administrative matters with respect to selected client relationships
Visit preparation for client/broker meetings
Scanning of documents, maintaining an orderly filing system (physical and/or in electronic format)
On an as needed basis training of new starters / temporary UW assistants
Involvement in back-office projects
Your Profile
Commercial education or any comparable business studies
2-3 years experience in a similar role within an international environment
Experience in re/insurance industry would be a strong asset
Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
Excellent command of English and French required; any other language would be a plus
Good knowledge of MS-Office applications; additional IT knowledge would be an asset
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Accurate approach to work with a proactive mindset
Open-minded positive personality with strong communication skills, a good team spirit and a pragmatic problem-solving attitude
