
Department Manager, Overnight, Fresh Kitchen - Dacula
Job Description
- planning and maintaining production processes within the production department
- ensuring food quality and food safety within the production department; including Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Safe Quality Foods (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- ensuring associate safety within the production department by complying with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations
- developing, training, and mentoring production department associates: which includes;
- participating in the interview and selection process
- executing, administering and training associates on Publix, Manufacturing and plant policies
- providing direction, encouraging, motivating and building morale and
- evaluating performance and verifying results
- identifying and ensuring execution of continuous improvement opportunities to improve associate productivity and asset productivity
