ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS
- Migrate CAD files from Pro/Engineer (Pro/E) to SolidWorks for the Inforce product line.,
- Update existing drawings and models to current GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards.
- Develop and write work instructions for manufacturing processes and test equipment operation.
- Operate production test equipment and accurately record results.
- Analyze test data to identify trends, anomalies, or performance gaps.
- Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on production and quality issues.
- Assist in maintaining organized CAD file libraries and revision control.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to validate updated drawings against physical assemblies.
- Document process improvements and flag inconsistencies found during file migration.
- Capstone presentation at the conclusion of internship.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university program relevant to Engineering, Design & Development.
- Strong interest in Engineering, Manufacturing, Production.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); SolidWorks (required), Pro/Engineer / Creo (preferred), GD&T fundamentals (coursework or prior experience preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Professional attitude with a high level of integrity and accountability.
- May be required to sit or stand, travel for extended periods.
- Occasional bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and operating office machinery.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Primarily office-based with exposure to outdoor condition.
- Main hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm in office.
- Schedule may include evenings or weekends based on business needs.
