Job Description
The intern will work under the guidance of a designated supervisor and collaborate with team members to contribute to meaningful projects aligned with departmental goals. Responsibilities may include research, data analysis, documentation, administrative support, and participation in team meetings or ongoing initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS
- Write test benches for Hardware Descriptive Language (HDL) modules using Vivado Design Suite.
- Develop and maintain Software Development Kits (SDKs) for electronic products.
- Create and update technical documentation, including product data sheets and Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
- Help maintain and update technical documentation and project logs.
- Capstone presentation at the conclusion of internship.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university program relevant to Electrical Engineering or other engineering disciplines.
- Strong interest in design and development and/or outdoor hunting and shooting industry.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with additional tools relevant to the department such as Vivado is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Professional attitude with a high level of integrity and accountability
- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Occasional bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and operating office machinery
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Primarily office-based with exposure potential exposure to outdoor conditions.
- Main hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm in office.
