Position Overview:
The Product Analyst serves as a strategic and technical liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams. This role is responsible for analyzing complex business/product problems and identifying opportunities to solve them through automated systems and innovative solutions.
Our Impact:
Our team is responsible for building and enhancing Collateral Risk applications for Freddie Mac. We enable customers to receive appraisal waivers as well as relief from asset, income, and collateral reps and warrants which reduces closing time and costs.
Your Impact:
Partner with Product Owners and Technical Leads to shape product decisions, solution designs, and delivery approaches.
Translate business/Technical needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that drive development.
Help lead multiple features simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and deadlines to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Analyze data and schema changes to ensure timely communication to upstream and downstream users.
Collaborate closely with product teams to refine stories, clarify scope, validate solutions, and support testing and acceptance.
Use Jira and Confluence to manage backlogs, track work, and maintain high‑quality product documentation.
Engage with business partners to understand user needs, behaviors, and value drivers.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent practical experience) and 2 + years of experience in secondary mortgage operations
- Strong knowledge of secondary mortgage processes
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver process and system enhancements
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear documentation
- Experience working in an Agile delivery model and proficiency with tools such as Jira and Confluence

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
