Traveling Superintendent – Commercial Construction - Jackson, MS

We're hiring an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to support projects across the country and help deliver them safely, on schedule, and on budget.

Please Note – This Is a National Travel Position:
This role requires the ability and willingness to travel to project sites throughout the United States. Lodging and a meal per diem are company-paid while traveling, and mileage is reimbursed at a competitive rate.

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of commercial construction projects, from planning and scheduling through final completion.
• Coordinate daily with project managers, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to keep workflow moving and materials arriving on time.
• Direct and supervise field crews, providing leadership, support, and clear accountability.
• Perform routine site inspections to track progress, verify quality, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and applicable building codes.
• Address issues proactively to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
• Keep project documentation accurate and current, including daily reports, progress updates, and change orders.
• Champion and enforce a strong safety culture grounded in industry best practices.

What You'll Need to Qualify:

• A minimum of 2 years of commercial construction experience, including prior time in a superintendent role.
• Willingness and ability to travel nationwide to job sites.
• Strong layout skills on complex commercial projects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural plans, and structural drawings.
• A track record of building and maintaining project schedules.
• Detail-oriented, self-driven, and focused on delivering quality work.
• Clear communicator across clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Comfortable working with technology and cloud-based reporting systems (tools and training provided).
