Who We Are:
United Contractor Services is a nationally operating specialty subcontractor delivering high-quality multifamily, commercial, and industrial construction projects from coast to coast. Our reputation rests on a consistent commitment to excellence, teamwork, and innovation on every job we take on. We're searching for a Multifamily Project Manager who brings an entrepreneurial mindset, a personable approach, and a talent for driving results while keeping our teams and clients aligned and engaged.

What You'll Be Doing:
As a Multifamily Project Manager, you'll be the engine behind some of our most dynamic residential projects. You'll manage timelines, budgets, and resources while building durable relationships with developers, owners, architects, and other stakeholders. We're not just looking for someone who keeps projects on schedule - we want a manager who adds real value through clear communication, sharp problem-solving, and a people-first approach to the work.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Direct the full lifecycle of multifamily projects, from preconstruction through final close-out.
  • Build project schedules and milestones that keep teams aligned and timelines on track across multiple units and phases.
  • Manage budgets proactively, protecting both cost efficiency and profitability.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for developers, owners, and subcontractors, delivering exceptional service at every stage.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks early to keep projects moving and avoid surprises.
  • Conduct regular site visits to track progress across all phases and reinforce a collaborative, team-first culture.
  • Mentor and lead project staff, cultivating a solution-oriented, high-performing work environment.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed documentation in full compliance with project, building code, and safety standards.

What We're Looking For:

  • Personable and Team-Oriented: You're a natural communicator who builds relationships easily and thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative setting.
  • Project Management Experience: 4+ years managing projects in multifamily or residential construction.
  • Leadership Ability: A proven track record of motivating teams, driving accountability, and keeping morale high under pressure.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in project management software, estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and documentation specific to multifamily work.
  • Developer & Owner Relations: You understand client needs and consistently deliver service and value that builds lasting partnerships.
  • Adaptability: You pivot quickly and stay effective managing multiple phases and unit counts as project demands shift.

What's In It For You:
Joining United Contractor Services means stepping into a role where your voice matters, your ideas count, and your personality is part of what makes the team stronger. We offer competitive compensation, a solid benefits package, and the chance to work on impactful multifamily projects alongside some of the best professionals in the industry. This role is built for someone who pairs project management skill with genuine energy and a people-focused approach.
