Job Purpose:
To lead the contribution towards engineering function in LEI plant manufacturing various products for secondary distribution network, with special focus on application engineering, customer drawings, approvals & wiring deliverables to production.
Job Context:
The job context shall be on standard work conditions with base salary as per the budget & company norms & other terms & conditions as per company policies, for permanent role of application engineer
Key Accountabilities:
- Timely delivery of project BOMs in Team Center as per priorities defined
- Pro-active identification of project customisation in advance & planning
- Leading project customisation designs, timely release along with BOM in TC/NX
- Leading ECR activities of department as per ISO norms & timely closure of the same
- Active participation in MCR CR activities including control ECR/ECN & implementation
- Leading in legacy products structuring, configurable BOM structure
- TC data maintenance of MCR & Sabre for LEI
- Full participation in AEGIS+ & AEGIS36 co-ordination with IEC
- AEGIS+, APTE, AEGIS36 Industrialisation in LEI supporting production
- Support in APTE CR global initiative, validation & co-ordination with IEC
- Leading in legacy products structuring, configurable structure
- TC data upload of legacy products & ensuring timely completion
Qualification, Experience & Skills:
- BE/Diploma (Mechanical)
- AutoCAD/TeamCenter/NX
- MS Office
- MV Switchgear Experience of 2-5 years
- Preferably Design Engineering experience in NX

Responsibilities:
1) Product and Solution Development: Define and deliver products and services that meet customer needs by selecting the best possible approaches available within established systems.
2) Engineering Solutions Design: Contribute to the design of engineering solutions; design the feasibility testing approach and supervise its implementation to support the development and validation of engineering solutions.
3) Technical Developments Recommendation: Research and suggest technical developments to improve the quality of the website/portal/software and supporting infrastructure to better meet users� needs.
4) Engineering Drawings: Create engineering drawings to support the communication, evaluation, and implementation of engineering solutions.
5) Testing: Use product specifications to design test procedures and standards.
6) Data Collection and Analysis: Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats. Involves working independently.
7) Research: Carry out a range of research activities either to support others or to fulfill the requirements of the role.
8) Project Management: Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals.
9) Prototype Development: Contribute to the planning, designing, construction, testing, communication, and evaluation of prototype development projects.
10) Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level
General Experience Requirement: Experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised (13 months to 3 years)
Managerial Experience Requirement: Basic experience of coordinating the work of others (4 to 6 months)
