This Operations Leader will report transparently and proactively to senior executive management, engage collaboratively with internal peers, lead the workforce appropriately and assertively, deal effectively with suppliers, and customers. This leader should put in place appropriate organizational structures and processes to ensure systematic and efficient production, a mindset of kaizen methods and tools for continuous improvement, and appropriate enterprise risk management and business continuity planning. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
•    Instill a Zero-Defect Quality culture to maximize yields and throughput, and ongoing reduction of scrap, defects, and yield excursions 
•    Collaborate with the research and development team to improve the yield, speed, manufacturability and cost of new products  
•    Alignment with engineering and demand planning functions to ensure production output expectations are met
•    Work with the other Operations sites or BU, to optimize and standardize best practices for safety, quality, output and cost
•    Maximizing on time delivery of customer requests 
•    Build and retain a high-functioning team 
•    Maintain a safe and environmentally compliant workplace in line with corporate policy and regulations

KEY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
•    Strong technical ability with experience in yield improvements and experience working with the Assembly/reliability groups to ensure overall product health. 
•    Strong operational management skills with the ability to establish plans and forecast and to meet commitments. 
•    Proven ability to attract high-caliber individuals, and build a strong team, with skills and ability to proactively develop the organization to meet future requirements. 
•    Ability to work cross functionally with  business leadership, supply chain planning, and other operations sites and BU, to execute operationally and to drive forward thinking operations strategy
•    Passion for excellence, in the field of manufacturing, guided by a desire for continuous improvement 
•    Ability to work under pressure, in a time-sensitive, fast-paced environment is required 
•    Hands-on skills to lead and manage the business, ability to conceptualize and drive the “big picture” while being able to dive down into the details to drive improvement and fix problems 
•    A strong people manager that can create a high engagement workplace for the operations team 

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS:
•    A minimum of 10 years’ experience of leading operations/engineering and at least 15 years of experience in a high technology manufacturing company environment 
•    Successful experience within a medium-volume high-mix production environment
•    An accomplished leader, able to build high performance teams, possessing excellent influencing and communication skills (both internally and externally) and demonstrating organizational awareness
•    Team-oriented individual with ethics and integrity. 
•    A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field is required
