We are looking for a Research Fellow to support the research project on “Novel High Performance Piezoelectric Thin Film Composite (TFC) Nanofiltration/Reverse Osmosis (NF/RO) Membrane for Industrial Separation and Purification Application”
Key Responsibilities:
Integrating Machine Learning (ML) with Molecular Dynamics (MD) to predict phase-separation dynamics and membrane morphology prior to physical experiments
Characterization and analysis of membrane properties using advanced analytical tools, e.g., SEM, TEM, XPS, AFM, etc.
Performance testing of membrane in various applications like desalination, reclamation, filtration etc.
Project management and collaboration with cross-functional teams, preparation of reports and publication in high-impact journals, compliance with safety regulations.
Job Requirements:
PhD degree from a reputable university in chemical/environmental/material engineering
Relevant research experience in membrane fabrication and process, desalination and water reclamation, industrial wastewater treatment and resource recovery
Oral presentation and multitasking skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team
Good interpersonal, communication and report writing skills
Strong responsibility for research
