Job Description
This role is based on a project site in Fort Saskatchewan, AB.
What You Will Be Working On
Coordinate the flow of materials from site requisition through delivery, storage, and issuance to field teams
Work closely with procurement, construction management, and warehouse teams to forecast material needs
Maintain accurate inventory records, material logs, and documentation
Track purchase orders, shipping schedules, and vendor deliveries
Inspect incoming materials for accuracy, quality, and compliance with project specifications
Organize laydown yards, storage areas, and material staging zones
Support material returns, surplus management, and reconciliation
Ensure all material handling follows Bird’s safety standards and site procedures
Communicate material status updates to project leadership and field supervisors
Assist with expediting critical materials to avoid project delays
What We Are Looking For
3+ years of experience in material coordination, warehousing, or logistics within industrial or construction environments
Strong understanding of industrial materials, tools, and equipment
Experience with ERP or material management systems (e.g., SAP, JD Edwards, Procore, etc.
Valid driver’s license; CSTS
Strong organizational and communication skills, working in a team environment
Ability to work in outdoor, industrial, and physically demanding environments
