At the Valeo plant in Czechowice-Dziedzice, we manufacture powertrain systems that support fuel consumption reduction and lower emissions—including starters, air throttles, exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valves, electromechanical actuators, and innovative electric drives.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership: Serve as the Technical Lead for High Voltage (HV) testing, focusing on eAxle and eMotor systems.
Test Strategy Development: Define the HV product test strategy in compliance with both Customer requirements and Valeo standards & specifications.
Product Characterization: Conduct comprehensive functional product characterization for high-voltage components.
Testing Operations: Oversee and manage HV product testing using dedicated eAxle System and Motor Performance test benches.
Project Support & Risk Analysis: Support the project team in developing compatibility matrices and performing risk analyses, collaborating closely with the product family validation standard owner.
Documentation & Reporting: Document and maintain the Validation Plan, including detailed performance and functional validation results.
Planning & Estimation: Partner with the T&V Design Lead to plan, budget, and quote all necessary activities required to execute validation tests.
Equipment Evolution: Build, develop, and upgrade test equipment to ensure alignment with new product references and technologies.
Team Leadership: Line-manage and develop a validation team of approximately 6 engineers/technicians.
Requirements:
Education: Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a relevant technical field).
Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the testing and validation field, ideally within the automotive (EV/HV) sector.
Technical Expertise:
Very good knowledge of electrical engineering, specifically regarding AC motor control and measurement systems.
Deep understanding of AC motor control strategies and Electro-Mechanical principles.
Languages: Proficiency in English and Polish (both written and verbal) is required.
Soft Skills & Leadership: Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a natural ability for creative thinking.
Global Mindset: Openness and willingness to work effectively within international, cross-functional project teams.
