About the Role
The role is responsible for supporting company activities during build & upgrade phases. Complete 3G, 4G & 5G activities, from New Integrations, Upgrades and reconfigurations across all Vendors being used by our clients
The RIC Coordinator will be required manage site outages and assist field teams in site lock/unlocks. Additionally, they will be required to prepare HOPs (Handover Packs) for site acceptance, making suggestions for ongoing process improvement where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to RIC Manager
- Troubleshooting RAN and MME problems
- Troubleshooting Transmission, Antenna Line Device problems
- Support the Integration of Nokia, Ericsson & Huawei Equipment
- EnodeB status and handling Alarm analysis and clearance
- Use of customer databases and operational tools
- Updating tracking reports for internal use always ensuring accuracy
- Working within the wider team - review and accept Handover Packs
- Preparing and submitting HOP documents
Experience
- Over 3 years' experience as engineer in telecom field
- Experience of working on OMC / NMC
- Knowledge in 3G/4G LTE
- Knowledge in 5G Advantageous but not necessary
- Experience with Huawei, Nokia & Ericsson Equipment
- Scripting experience of Unix , Perl , SQL , XML , MS Access
- Fluent English and excellent clear telephone speech .
- Excellent Excel Skills and Experience
