About the Role
Service Stream’s Utilities division are currently seeking a Subcontractor Officer to join our growing company. The role acts as the central coordination point between operations, Client, subcontractor/s, and internal stakeholders to improve visibility, prioritisation, and delivery assurance of control system works to ensure improved subcontractor accountability, stronger governance of variations and claims, reduced operational risk, improved compliance assurance, increased visibility of work status and priorities, and improved alignment between operational requirements and subcontractor delivery. The role also supports other delivery management of specialist sub-contractors.
Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Brisbane, QLD
Reporting Line: Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities
Review and coordinate control systems work requests.
Provide Work Order scheduling and dispatch including Work Order closure and assurance activities.
Managing internal field resources including works prioritization, timesheet accuracy and associated reporting.
Ensure appropriate management and governance of ancillary support services
Provide operational coordination between client, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
Work directly with Finance leads to ensure month end reporting accuracy.
Plan, establish, implement, and monitor the Cost improvement plans across portfolio.
Assist with the preparation of management reporting including; budget, payment claims and forecasting resourcing utilisation and any other ad-hoc analysis as requested
Assess work priority and criticality in collaboration with operational stakeholders.
Manage governance and oversight of the control systems and associated subcontractor arrangements.
Review subcontractor quotations, claims, and variations for scope and commercial accuracy.
Support technical assurance and compliance verification of completed works.
About You
Experience in a subcontractor management role
Understanding of control systems or electrical systems design (desired)
2+ years of professional experience in general admin, compliance management or Scheduling/planning.
Desired- (Electrical Trade Qualification) or similar
