Welding & Fabrication Supervisor

Overview:

We are looking for a Supervisor to lead our welding and fabrication teams. This role is responsible for coaching employees, supporting daily production, and making sure work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.

 

Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and support welders and fabricators on a daily basis
• Train and develop employees to improve skills and performance
• Assist with hiring and support employee evaluations
• Monitor attendance, performance, and team engagement
• Communicate production issues (staffing, equipment, delays) to the Production Manager
• Help keep production on schedule and ensure quality standards are met
• Record time and materials accurately on shop orders
• Step in to support the team when needed

 

Qualifications:

• Previous supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of welding and fabrication processes
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Working knowledge of press brake, shear, saw, laser, and welding processes preferred
• Strong communication and organization skills
